In Navgachia, fruit sellers from Tetari have filed a complaint against the operator of the Human Welfare Credit and Shri Pit Co-Operative Society Limited for allegedly cheating them out of lakhs of rupees.
The complainants, Sukesh Thakur, Ranjit Sah, Vikas Sah, Pujari Sah, Chamkalal Thakur, and Manoj Sah, reported that about a year and a half ago, Abhimanyu Singh opened a branch of the society in the name of his wife, Preeti Devi, in Mahdattpur. Singh is accused of having his brother-in-law, Naveen Kumar Singh, collect money from customers.
